Thread: PSSP Update

    Default PSSP Update

We had three local instructors here with students yesterday and all three reported the viz is good 20'-40' at P1 and better at Orange Grove. We snorkeled the run yesterday with our family and you could see into the cavern at P! from the surface. Angel (asst. manager) was here also, we walked the trail and checked all the sinks out and they looked good, not blue thou. The water is rising some but the is a fairly big boil going on at P1.

    Hey Janet,
Is the tree still in the entrance of Waterhole?

Default Janet correct me if I'm wrong

Based on the real time river levels we lose Peacock at about 31.5 feet.
As happened on 7/14. It is currently at 30.66 and the prediction for Dowling park is to not flood so hopefully the river will crest this weekend.
Anyone else have an opinion? Of course this assumes the rain is not too bad.

Branford is at 22.45 and to crest on the 17th at 23.2, we have such a boil going I do not feel we'll have a problem this time, UNLESS of course
GA gets a really big rain. Just my VERY unprofessional opinion, no tannic water is in sight yet, I feel it's looking good. Janet

Okay, your all getting mean now, you know we love all GA residents here at PSSP.
Our levels are going down a few inches everyday, we've not had any local rain since Thursday. Still looking good today.
