David has a hydro facility near Atlanta. Not sure how to cheaply get the tank to him, but he probably can find a way to read the S/N.

Yes the cost of shipping would seem prohibitive.....not losing any sleep over it!

    Cave Diver Arrow Tanks

We have several ways to do this...shipping is prohibitive however I did cave country at least once a month...we can meet and let me handle. For follow cave divers we go the extra step if needed. Just let me know our website has contact info.

    Phreaticus,
David is offering to help you save a tank. He makes frequent trips to NFL, both east and west so you don't have to pay any shipping. Cave Adventurers in Marianna is one of his largest customers and I don't think they would use him if he did not know what he's doing. I've had him hydro my tanks as well as service regulators and he goes out of his way to make sure things are done right. Finally, his prices are very reasonable, unlike the LDS near me.

So toss that tank if you want to, but if I were you, I'd take him up on his offer of help. If your location makes it unreasonable for him to help you, he'll tell you that up front.

OR....I'll probably not use the tank enough in the next 5 years or so, to justify all the hassle and $$......
I appreciate the offer.......if I can get the tank up to a location that he can (at his convienience...gas is pretty pricey as we all know) pick it up, I'll pursue it....
    Probably not, however.......

Any one in the Tampa Bay area area want a free tank...to pursue this issue...?
Would like to follow the process....hope it can be in the affirmative!

If you are in Tamps, why don't you send it up to Homosassa? Advanced Hydrotest is also run by a cave diver, and will manage to test it as well.

There is also Pasco fire and safety, which is run by a diver as well. Otherwise, I'll take the tank if you're not wanting to deal with it.
