VR3 Computer OC trimix

I’ve got an OMS VR3 that is sitting around collecting dust since I got my Predator. It’s unlocked OC trimix, software version 2.0A. Original price (ha ha!) was $1198.50, I bought it new at Cave Excursions in 2002 or 2003. The good – it’s a multigas full mix computer, starts up and runs. The bad – this unit locked up on me about 2 hours into a dive and stayed locked up until a couple hours after I surfaced. When it locked up it froze the display at the time and depth it was at when it locked and would not change gasses.

Not looking for the world for this – I’m thinking $300 or best offer. At $300 I’ll pay shipping via USPS. Less and we’ll negotiate.

My terms are that you MUST send me an Email stating that you understand that this computer has locked up during a dive in the past, and understand that it may lock up during a dive in the future.

I take cash or money order and will ship in a day or two after I receive funds. I can leave this at (or meet you at) Cave Country Dive Shop if that works. I’ll accept a personal check but I will wait for it to clear before I ship the computer. Next time thru cave country will likely be in two weeks.

Computer is in original box with instruction book, has the original metal battery plug and a newer plastic one with tool as well. I may have the infrared download device that plugs into a serial port on a computer – if I can find it I’ll include it. Discs are long gone for the download software, but if you can scare up the software from Delta P or some other source you can download your log from the unit.

If I’m way out of line on the price let me know. This is a functional multi-gas trimix computer. I’ll guarantee it boots up when you get it (I’ll refund if D.O.A.), but after that there are no guarantees as it is a 10 year old electronic device. The last time I posted photos on here was 5 or 6 years ago, it was more difficult than the benefit anyone ever got from my pictures.

To clarify, it's got a black & white display. I see that $300 is too high - somebody has to want this, how about $250?
