Thanks a bunch. Does anyone have any word on Little River, and maybe Madison Blue?

The line is still in the Eye at Ginnie as of yesterday (and the showers are back to being single sex). The fence is still up and the viz is maybe a foot in the river and in the Ear itself.

Viz is not great in the cave, by normal Ginnie standards but very diveable in the 30-40' range with some tannic undertones, but it's still very scooter-able and with the flow down, it's a nice swim dive as well.

We were at Little River today. The flow is up, and the water level is at the second step - so about half way up the retaining wall. The basin is severe clear and viz in the cave itself, while not epic, is pretty good up front fading to a little smokey looking with 30' or so further back.

When we arrived we noted the tree was missing from the basin, but we found it in the entrance of the cavern, so LR now has plenty of places to tie off a primary. I used the rebar for old time's sake.

    Obviously, LR reversed....

Madison is reported to be great upstream or Martz and a little less great below that point.

    -----

Cow is fantastic, with great flow, a normal water level in the basin and superb viz. The mosquitos however are present in angry hordes, so be prepared.

    ------

Peacock isn't bad either - maybe 40-50 most places. There are some spots where the warm tannic water persists. The high spot in the cross over is very tannic and we tried the 7 tunnel and found it to be interesting. It started out very clear, got slightly tannic as the cave shallowed, then blood red with 4'-5' of viz, then a foot or so above that layer it was coffee brown and maybe 6" of viz. At that point we turned as I saw no point point going through a very delicate and sensitive area of cave on the line. Cool looking though....
