    Default Any improvment in Vis?

I was heading up to cave country in the morning for a little R@R, I was holding off packing gear until the last minute due to some of the reports that I was hearing.
My first stop will be Ginnie.. is it still open and dive able? Scooterable? Vis? Flow?
Any reports would be greatly appreciated!

Just scootered up to the Hillier tunnel this afternoon. Vis was around 40', definitely scooterable. Hillier tunnel was very nice. There is some dark water in double domes and a couple days ago the white room was a bit tanic...however still great dives. Flow seemed a bit down.

Ginnie tomorrow will be a little wild being labor day. Today it was only a 5 out of 10 on the lord of the flies scale, lots of drunkenness, a few deck/railing jumpers, tubers all over the stairs but no public sex, fights or cars crashed into trees.

Ginnie was good, Peacock is around 50ft, LR I heard today was around 40ft, Telford not so good but divable.

Ginnie is fine, plenty clear, just green and darker in certain areas due to the tannic water mixing with the spring water. Hardly any particulate though at all. Flow isn't bad at all. I dove it a few days ago. Enjoy, it makes for a different dive.

We've been scootering a couple days at Ginnie this week. The viz is ok, but not stellar and it has faint tannic colored tinting throughout the areas of the cave we were in. If you are swimming it, I'd recommend it as the flow is down a bit. If you are scootering, it's worth a few dives, but I would not plan a trip around it.

The ear is still closed with the fence up, and on the river side of the fence it's still like diving in warm coffee, except the viz in most coffee cups is better, so the ear won't be an option for a while. They are running a semi-permanent primary reel to the gold line from the eye to ease the traffic and line congestion that would otherwise result from the half a dozen or so of us cave divers on the planet that actually run primaries at Ginnie.

How are the other training caves in the area? The Peacock system, Little River?

Is the line the Jim ran into the eye not there anymore? I went there the other day and there was 7 lines going in the eye.

I donve Peacock two wkends ago and it was great. Vis was 40+, had some tannic water high in the domes. Made for a fun dive.

Thanks a bunch. Does anyone have any word on Little River, and maybe Madison Blue?
