I was told the reason we have to be out of Peacock 3 1/2 hours before sundown in the summer is so the rangers don't have to eat supper late.

I used to stay at work 'til 2am because that was when I was paid to be there.

Often times they are arbitrary, so what, people want to spend times with family and a 5PM kick off time has become the norm to some degree.

Policy isnt established by the people we interact with at the park level and an obnoxious comment is much more likely be passed up the chain of command.

So again, what did that comment accomplish? Did it make you feel good?

and again how much of your money will you spend every month in perpetuity so that dive times are more convenient?

Perhaps if you want to get off work at 5pm, applying for a job at a park that closes at sunset isn't the best career path for you?

Speaking of obnoxious. Your assumption that I was other than polite when I asked the question at issue makes me want to tell you what an obnoxious ass hole you are. But, I wouldn't do that because I'm a nice guy.

    Sloodge:

Thats actually a reasonable reason and why a lot of people leave work at 5PM, there's nothing wrong with that. Why should we expect to inconvenience people and force the state to incur additional expenses for such a small part of the population?

And again, whop's going to pay?

The only way I can think of that any park personnel is going know what scooters do or don't do is by what they hear from cave divers. Seems we're the problem, not the park people.

LOL, so touchy....I suggest you re read....I said AN OBNOXIOUS COMMENT not YOUR.....I suppose you over reaction is telling so I'll correct myself and say YOUR OBNOXIOUS comment is much more likely to attract attention we dont need.
