My father, Grand father, and both brothers, and my Wife dive. My mother and grandmother don't dive and my two girls have to wait till they are ten to get certified, so 7 and 9 years left to wait the three year old loves going to the dive shop/site and watch the divers. I am the only one of my family that is cave certified but once time and money allow my wife will get cave certified as well. Then time will tell with the girls.

My daughter is AOW, but wants me to teach her Cavern eventually. She loves diving the springs and the caverns fascinate her. That would make us a mother/daughter team ... not one of the options you asked about, oops!

My name is Shirley Kasser Creech and I approve this message. Well, at least one of me does, anyway. Maybe. Fire. Sharp things. Squirrel!

Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.

Just about everyone in my extended family is a certified diver but none of them have any interest in cave diving. My son wants to do his cavern course when he turns 18 but that's about it. Most of my family live in either the Tampa Bay or West Palm area and they like warm, salt water dives that aren't too deep. I try to get them to go wreck diving with me when I go down to visit but more often than not it's just me on the boat.

Being as I'm not female, it wouldn't have been a viable question.
