Since a lot of CDF members frequent the area, thought I'd pass on a little recent info.

First, if you aren't aware,8 the Choctawhatchee River has completely flooded Morrison springs. Should be no surprise, considering all the rain of late. This morning there was tannic water all the way over the beach and part way up the steps.

Next, for the instructors out there: Vortex has instituted a new policy that says you must show proof of instructor insurance. They insist it has always been policy. I have been using Vortex for training since 2003 and I have never been asked this. If you are going to teach there, make sure you have a copy with you and save yourself a headache.
