I just bought four for my wife, they aren't real common, some people call them "compact 80's", I say because I have run into at least one person who didn't know what HP80's were, but did know about compact 80's.
If you can't find HP 80's, I had my daughter diving in AL 63's when she was little, in two years she out grew them and now I have no use for them.

I have met dozens of cave divers that don't know what HP cylinders are at all. They confuse them with E-series and X-series.

I probably don't know what HP cylinders are, I think of the ones stamped 3442 as HP, but something nags at me that HP is really the ones with small necks and tapered threads?
Doesn't matter in cave diving from what I've seen, but go to quite a bit of open water shops and your doing good to get the pressure that's stamped on the cylinder as a fill.

HP tanks are 3500psi and above. the 3442psi are not HP. I'm fairly confident in my statements because this is on a lot of threads in this forum. As I recall, russell has been the one-man correction factor on this for several years.

I've got a couple sets of HP80's up here in Tallahassee. Both DIN, both in good condition. Send me a PM if you're interested and we'll try to figure out a way to get them to you
