Larry, maybe so, if you are suggesting this as a matter of survivability in the event of a flash fire under water. But as you say, there are other critical soft parts in that area of either type first stage and any regulator that has such an event is going to be fairly useless. Except perhaps with respect to secondary issues from seawater exposure, I think this is a moot point.
