Anyone dive Madison this weekend?? Thinking of heading there next Sun or Ginnie.
+1 Will be there next sunday and would like to hear how it's been.
I was there a week ago and it was great. Past the half-hitch, visibility was about 10 miles. The cavern was a little bit cloudy and the flow was moderate.

Was there a week ago. Vis past martz is fantastic. Cavern was dark and dirty. The further in you get the better the vis. Offshoots all had good vis. We'll be back up this coming weekend.
Martz would be a great place to enter if you are heading upstream.

Ive been wanting to get in at Martz and ride it out myself. Havent seen zigzag in a while either.
Dropping in at Martz was easier than I expected. We made it up to the entrance to RH. Vis was reduced on exit, but not bad.
I had never entered at Martz. We were in SM and I was a little concerned with gearing up in that hole. There is a line attached to the right wall, and plenty of ledges and nubs to support yourself while you clip your tanks on. No trouble at all. The line starts right underneath the chunk of limestone the stairs land on... I will reconsider running a primary next time.
