True story.
A couple of OW divers were going to dive an active quarry at night. One had been there a month or so earlier, the other had never been there.
When they sneaked up to the edge, the "expert" said, "the water is about 5 feet below us, just jump in". The other guy was afraid, and insisted in turning on his light. They were afraid of being seen, but turned on a dive light anyway.
To the surprise of th guy that had been there the previous month, the quarry had been drained, and it was about 100' to the bottom!

Another true story, the names have been omited on purpose.
Two cave divers were doing a sneak dive on private property. They managed to get into the water undetected. They were well into the cave, at depth. One of the divers apparently suffered "depth blackout", and lost his regulator. The buddy tried to put the regualtor back into his mouth, but he died anyway.
Now the surviving buddy had to go to the landowner, and admit he had been tresspassing, and call the Sheriff. Then he had to explain to the Sheriff that he had been trespassing, and someone died.
Crime *really* doesn't pay!!

If the dive is that good then consider buying the property!!

I remember a couple of young dive punks rolling up to a local state park, late at nite with their dive gear, tossing the tanks, lites & gear over the fence & doing a no-mount exploratory dive in a system that was off-limits to divers. Turned out that it was a really close quarters cave with a lot of spikey things hanging from the ceiling & sticking up out of the floor, with numerous tunnels running every which way. Nope, nothing here, too complicated for them.....but a certain team from Jacksonville had to come running down to ck it out, with the Governors permission of course.-! Found the same thing the two in-experienced divers found. Shallow system with a lot of side passage ways, & a lot of stalagtites & stalagmites everywhere. Not a good idea to go poking around in gator infested waters, at nite, with-out the proper training or the proper authority.......Nope, not a good idea to sneak dive.........
I ain't signing this one, cause I don't know anything about it, & I'm taking the 5th ammendment-!
