Peacock and Little River - Are they open??

I'm planning to dive somewhere Monday and Tuesday, the 30th and 31st. Does anyone know if Peacock or Little River are open to divers? If not, where else could I go that will allow intro divers? Last I heard Ginnie was open, but only to full cave divers.

Jackson Blue, Manatee, to name a couple.

If vis is > 30' at Madison Blue, you should be good.

Peacock and LR are still closed. Last I heard but not confirmed Madison is open to full cave only. I would call Ginnie the day before and check the status as conditions seem to be improving more each day there. Manatee is a great choice, just be sure to get there early as cave teams are limited per day.

I would contact the park to be sure. From what NFSA has said, it is full cave divers only.

I called the park at lunch. They said any "Cave" is fine, only "Cavern" is restricted.

Madison is open to all but Cavern. We will look at PSSP again soon....

Thanks for clarifying Jim. Are there any plans to check out Little River?

The NFSA has no official connection with the managers of Little River, even though we act to assist with the lines and signs. We will look at it and report here on the forums and to the managers what we find.
