I could go on. Let justice work it's course. Whoever prevails will have done so because their qualified experts will have persuaded an impartial jury that their version of the facts is more likely than not. It is in no one's interest, certainly not those of you choosing to put your life on the line in relying on a rebreather to limit the consumers access to the courts. The system works, it isn't broken and it doesn't need fixing IMHO.

You would be surprised as to what jurors understand though you do have to be careful when presenting technical information to them. Each side will likely have very qualified experts testifying so whatever the outcome it will not be because the jurors were uninformed.

Oh, I never understood the system is my problem... I was always under the impression that juries were made up of people.

    And people are idiots.

Bring it on! The coffee in question was boiling hot. McDonald's was certainly big enough to have defended themselves. They lost and for a reason. The lady who dried her dog in the microwave didn't get a dime. Now you want to talk about all the little guys who lost trying to take on big money?

Even if diverite wins this, diverite will have to pay a ton of money, right? How is that fair, if somebody can sue you and bankrupt you, even if you win and you didn't do anything wrong?
