Default Mirrored 300BAR DIN Valves For Older Genesis HP 120's Needed

I broke down my set of Genesis HP 120's about a year ago to use for sidemounting. Unfortunately, no plugs could be found for the valves, so I sold the entire manifold. I currently have 300BAR DIN valves on them, but they both have a right-side knob. The tanks have a small diameter opening, which I was told is the reason for having difficulty in finding mirrored valves. The original hydro year on them is 1990 or 1991. Does anyone have any information on where I can possibly find them?

Looking at the OMS site, it appears they have discontinued theirs. Dive-Rite has taken the minimalist approach on their site, so you can't tell if it's available or not. But the Genesis left-and-right valves are still being made in the 7/8" size.

If you don't have a local Genesis dealer, PM me. I work for one.

    Russell:

I don't know what the tank diameter size is in my Genesis 120's, but it's smaller than the tank diameter size in my steel 95's and aluminum 80's. I'll have to remove one of the valves and measure it.

Don't bother measuring it. The numbers aren't real.

There are two sizes used now; aluminum and low pressure steel are 3/4, and high pressure steel, also called Genesis, are 7/8. Although 7/8 is a larger number than 3/4, the 7/8 is smaller (they're measured differently).

If your cylinders are marked "Genesis" or are noticably smaller than aluminums or low pressure steels, they're 7/8.

That makes no sense. I wonder who thought that one up.

Anyway, I need a set in 300 BAR DIN style. I'll attempt to PM you.
