    Default Devils and Ginnie

Did anyone know if Ginnie or Devils reversed? I have never heard of it happening in the past. Wonder if it happened this time?

Had to happen sometime in the past because they found shards of wood in the cave several hundred feet back. If it didn't reverse,I bet the area from the river intrusion tunnel out looks pretty bad. I recall when we had a flood of this magnitude, that viz dropped pretty low from the section of the cave under the river.

I see pieces of wood, leaves etc pretty far back in the cave which leads me to believe it has reversed in the past.

Somebody actually studied the shards of wood they found, and I recall something to the effect that some of the wood was several hundred years old.

That is the recent past for Forrest, I'm sure he will chime in with the story soon.

Or that there was a sinkhole in the area at one time. That tends to me more the reason for "foreign" objects in the panhandle caves. I don't know if that's the case in the High Springs area or not, though.

I dove it one time with a very slight siphon. The cave was black back to the Hinkle, and the water level was at the roof of the bath house. Best dive I've ever had there.
