    Default England & Ireland

Planning trip to England & Ireland. Will probably not be able to finish full cave before I leave. Are there many sites open to intro level? If so, where? Where can I rent doubles in each country? I BM.
    Thanks.

I don't know about Ireland, but the only caves in England are pretty advanced. I can give you access to the Irish forum, and you can ask there. They may not know what you mean by "intro" though. I think that is a US description.

Thanks Forrest, I do have access already, it's been quiet on there lately.

I've never been cave diving in England, used to do a bit of dry (damp!) caving there.

Far as I know cave diving as it's done in Florida doesn't exist in England. Most/all is cold water ,crappy viz, sumps. Generally quite a bit of dry caving to get there.

Read "The Darkness Beckons" by Martyn Farr, then decide if you still want to dive there!

Look, all you need to know is the difference between ale, larger and stout. The rest is not important.

HaHa I was born there.... I was raised on stout.... Can't wait to get a real pint of Guinness.... Been dreaming about it for years.
Had to move to Florida to contract this hideous cave diving disease... Don't know what's available back there. I do however have a few treasure hunting dives planned.

    That's easy. Larger is bigger.

    Would stout imply larger?

Stout is part of the reason for my stoutness.

Sorry, renting doubles easier out of Dublin in Ireland, much easier in the UK. If you book onto some guided cave dives there are centres in the UK that will provide gear as part of the guide. Let me know your itinerary when you have a more solid idea and I'll get better info for you.
