River Levels

Just got back from the Sante Fe at Worthington Springs. The river is totally out of the banks and has flooded the park at Worthington. Also drove over the 41 Bridge at High Springs ( just north of Jim's store ) The water is up at that location but not out of the banks. A few days ago you could almost walk across that part of the river so there is quite a difference today. Checking the NOAA river levels, it does not show us in a flood stage yet, but looking at the amount of water to the east of Ginnie, it is entirely possible that our dive area could be somewhat impacted over the next week or so. No pics as it was a spur of the moment visit but I'll make another run tomorrow and see if there are any changes.

Sunday Evening: Any word yet? Are the rivers starting to recede?

Everything upstream of the Suwannee Springs gauge is already falling, but Luraville and Branford haven't even crested yet. They're probably pretty close to it though. Both gauges have been rising much, much slower over the past 2-3 days. Luraville is about to top 30'. The forecast on the Branford gauge has high-water staying through next week right now, and that's as far into the future as it goes...

I guess we'll just have to wait and see :/
