Default 50 gallon steel drum with lid

Anyone have one or know where I can get one cheap? Need it for a dive related project...

The plastic chemical barrels I use are stronger than steel depending on what you are planning to do with them. (Chemicals were inside a plastic liner to they are not toxic.) Just s thought since they dont rust.

Any manufacturing plants around you? A lot of them recycle them, so they won't give them away, but they don't get much for them, maybe $15 should get you one.

We generate lots but I can't really transport one to you easily...but I'm sure there are places receiving chemicals near you. Try to find out what was inside, get the MSDS and rinse it properly...

Got plenty of them at work that we receive free of charge. If any divers in the Metro Atlanta area are planning on heading down to Marianna any time soon and have room for a 55 gallon drum, shoot me a PM.

Needs to be more durable than plastic. Ja
hjah, I'm in Marianna. There's not much of anything here. Maybe Dothan but I doubt it.
Kevin, checked the Marianna one (didn't ask but it's not like that's something that's difficult to see) and no luck.
RHolmes, thanks, if no one is able to bring one down, I will get in touch with you next time I'm up there if I haven't found one yet.
Al, I'll check that option. I'm havving a concrete slab poured soon anyway so I can just ask them.

Thanks everyone. This gives me some options to look at.
