OG - 11 May 2012

Just dove OG yesterday with my Cave CCR class, BE CAREFUL when trying to get into the water. The rope to pull yourself out has been tied to the cylinder drop line/deco hang, so you have to grab onto the rocks and pull. I had a real hard time getting out, and I am young and fit (sorta).

The basin is like usual, 20 ft or so of vis. Upper and lower OG are nice, if you are the first in. Even after being the 2nd group into the lower cavern/lower OG, it was still crystal clear. Kinda milky in upper OG, but that could be because we were the 2nd group in.

Looks like I will have to pass on diving OG this week bad back and all. How difficult is it to climb out of P-1 now?

Don't know, but we are going back tomorrow for the Grand Traverse. I will post a report tomorrow night probably.

In back mount 120s...PI easy, PIII PITA, Cow not so easy but well worth it, OG damn hard and reminds me of the coral reefs, rock and cliffs of Okinawa. Based on 4/27-1/5.

There are two steps in the water and a 3rd nearly covered right now.
