Just so I understand it, this cell checker can test O2 sensors just like there were at depth in the water? If so, that would be a way to check for "current limiting" which is now known to be a problem for rebreather O2 sensor cells.
Narkedat90 were the first to come up with this idea and they have a couple of types on sale. They do ship to the USA.
Both the Narked@90 Cell Checker and the DE-OX Cell Checker can test for current limiting of the O2 Sensor and Linearity (i.e. under pressure/at depth).
The DE-OX Cell Checker is much more sophisticated and advanced relative to the Narked@90 model because it can also give you the Response Time (i.e. Speed) of the O2 Sensor under test.
Furthermore, the DE-OX Cell Checker auto-calibrates (can use any gas, air being the simplest one to use) and gives you all test results directly on the display.
I have owned both and both are very good (and essential) products for rebreather divers, but now I bought a pressure chamber and I do all my testing there (so clearing up the garage of things I no longer need/use).
