People are asking us, as we are producing a documentary film about Ben McDaniel, who disappeared in August 2010 and has never been recovered or seen since. There is also a TV program that will air tomorrow 3/19/2012 about Vortex. Just a very strange circumstance.

    Thanks for any available clarification.

Police believe Ben McDaniel disappeared during a dangerous underwater cave dive. But the best divers in the world search for his body and are convinced that he is not in the cave. Baffled, investigators start questioning the nature of his disappearance.

on the "Disappeared" from the Disovery/Investigation Network....
Why all the interest in this guy?? it's pretty obvious that he is not in there, these two documentaries appear to be no more than pulp journalism which will lure even more unqualified divers to the search... the story should have been left to die a natural death... Ben McDaniel is likely on a beach somewhere laughing his butt off at the commotion he has caused, it's a sad dangerous situation any way you look at it.

Agreed...this is reality tv now with a special dose of real life sensationism that many will find titilating....i'm popping some corn and getting ready for some real voyeur tv tonight.

Exactly what "channel" is this on? I Googled "Disovery/Investigation Network.", and I see that there are several "channels" on that network.

It appears they have a "new channel" called I.D. (Investigation Discovery). I just cant find it on my TV. I only have "basic". Maybe it is a "premium" channel.

My cable sucks, all I get is crap like Lawnchair Wars. Living in a condo, I can't change providers if I want to, which I do. Maybe time to look into this Hulu thing that can stream through my computer?

I found it, channel 221 in Atlanta on Comcast, but only part of the premium package. Let me know if it is worth trying to get on DVD.
