Default New Sea Elite 10w HID...

    Hi,
I found this on another board and took a peek, looks nice enough and the price is very nice indeed, anyone have experience with this?

I noticed it says it has a brightstar bulb on it. Comments?

Hmm.... The canister looks oddly familiar to the Salvo one...

Look at the switch, latches, etc...

The lighthead on the other hand is not the same...

Still trying to find where that lighthead is from... Sea Elite doesn't manufacture anything themselves. They are merely a rebrand like OMS.

I think all the manufacturers of dive lights ran out of creative ideas a few years back, so now they ALL look the same.
anyway, I'm sure the light is fine, i've seen it in use at my local Divers supply in Jacksonville (it's brighter than hell) and it looks well built.

Default My three cents, for what it's worth-!

Delrin{trade name}is a high tech/high grade plastic designed by NASA engineers for use in their launch vehicles assembly. It is vastly superior to tempered acrylics and Lexan {trade name}. The downside is that Delrin is not cheap to manufacture, but is available to various companies & individuals with specific engineering requirements.....I do not know what Dive-rite uses today in their light canisters, but they seem to be in demand and I've not heard any negative remarks about their products. They have an outstanding staff, & an unparalled return policy-! I think this is what we all want: A foolproof service policy-! Their pricing is within what the market bears, and they offer a full range of primary lights design. The other companies may or may not match Dive-rite's quality & service, bar the plastics incorporated into their products. In other words: "Look before you Leap"-!

My three cents worth-! Which is probably nothing when compared to several of yours resourceful-ness-!
