    Default Madison CLOSED

Due to heavy rains and Withlacoochee river levels Madison is closed to swimming and diving. We will keep you up to date. NFSA

Should still be time to drive to the Luraville area for a dive though Our plans are to work from 9:00 to 12:30 followed by lunch. I am sure some of us will be there around 8:00 if you wish to come earlier.

We are up to 15 volunteers not including the Nestle volunteers so it looks like we can have another big impact on the park. On behalf of the NFSA and the NACD, thank you in advance for your volunteer efforts!

    Safe diving,

We'll head somewhere else after the clean up. It is not unusual for Madison to blow out this time of year.

Sandy, I should be there on the 17th. I'm also trying to get some of my students to show up as well.

Oh well, there are plenty of sytems around there to dive in beside Madison. Just as long as peacock doesn't get closed down that weekend, I'll be happy. I have been trying to finish up the last dive of my Advance Recreational Trimix class for months and every time we try to finish the class, something dumb happens.

I think there is a new river intrusion, somewhere near the front of the cave. I have never seen the front all tannic like it was 2 weeks ago
