Okay, I forgot to pit a body in the message, but the thread title is the question. Long decos can be a little boring.

I haven't done it yet, but have contemplated this http://www.underwateraudio.com/ There are available from many different places, I don't know what if anything is done to a shuffle to make it waterproof, nor do I know it's depth rating.
That's interesting - the warranty says guarenteed for 1 year at depths to 100', so leaving it with a deco bottle in a cave is an option, although OW deco diving would be problematic.

We have the now kinda dated iRiver mp3 players with H2OAudio housing, speakers and they are rated to 300', but are a little larger than I'd like.
The current version uses the iPod and isalso 300' rated:
iDive 300
I have an iDive300 that I'm happy with.
Thanks y'all, looks like the iDive300 is the best choice I've been able to find as well.

Last time I talked to the company (H2OAudio) - there was nothing being manufactured. They had problems keeping up with Apple changing the interface to their product in a way that maintained compatibility with the iDive product. That was a year ago - and they are still developing a product.
Not sure if the iDive is a viable option to purchase - unless you can find a used unit that works with your device.

There is a new case coming out for the iPhone that will also allow it to act as a dive computer.
