Unfortunately, some of us will get hammered by Dennis on Sunday or early Monday. There's about a 75% chance that Dennis will make landfall at Pensacola as a Cat III, and about a 25% chance(these are my own guesstimates) that a trough will develop in the Gulf and cause Dennis to hook around it into a more easterly direction, taking a path fairly close to the same as Charlie did. In either case, it won't be pretty. Hang on to your hats folks, this is shaping up to be another nasty hurricane season.

No, I'm not a TV weatherman......I would have to forget 95% of my weather training to be qualified for that.

Also, I had sent you guys a shipment of pendants two weeks ago, and Wayne said they never showed, so we will send another to you as soon as we get more made. We insured them, so it wont be a problem. They were just betting that the 25% would not occur....and it appears it won't at this point. The way the pressure systems were located, it was a distinct possibility.

Keep in mind that it only takes 5 hours for the crawler to move the shuttle back to the VAB....so if Dennis had taken a turn in that direction, they would have had plenty of time.
