I see it described as an Open Water site, but I haven’t been to Fanning Springs.

Send me an e-mail if you want me to add it to the list.

In some case all three of your possibilities apply, but I believe mostly because cave and / or cavern diving is allowed.

The main reason for the Cave Conditions page is to view updated cave conditions.

Good point about it not being very interactive, but currently it’s not active at all!

Actually, the Cave Conditions are updated when reports are submitted on the Cave Conditions link. More conditions would be current, if more people submitted reports. Yes, I’m also guilty! I have only seen two reports submitted so far! I will also scan the Main CDF Forum for current updates, but that hasn’t happened for some time and conditions constantly change.

Bottom line: The best way to keep the Cave Conditions updated is to submit a current Cave Conditions report.

Norm ... What we really need is in water reports, but I will see if I can use them. Thanks!

What I know about cave conditions for the last week. Ginnie=perfect, Hart Springs, crystal clear but a long hike through swamp water to get to the sink. Alachua is clear in the cave, near zero vis in the cavern, nasty deco. Cathedral system is tannic, Cow was clear, low flow. Bonnet is good for now but I would ask about access before planning a dive there. That's all I know, Cindy
