    Default Scuba cat

I just discovered why my regulator mouth pieces all leak so fast. It seems my cat is chewing them on the sly. She already ate several dust covers for my regs. Along with computer cables, shoelaces and my stethescope. Her name is Ginnie and was a stray at Ginnie Springs. Anybody need a nice spayed and declawed kitty for the kids? Cindy

Hahahahahahahahaaha............no thanks. Your kitty has a serious rubber habit. I have three dogs. Lately one has been puking on the carpet (on the sly). Another has been stealing every loaf of bread I buy. I can't figure out which one it is.

Good point. Daisy - the old sly hound dog - been getting fluffy of late. Maybe she ain't as old as I thought.

Anyway let's not hijack this thread too. Sounds like Cindy seriously needs to find a new home for her kitty. (Not me )

I'll trade you - one of my kitties has taken to peeing on any dive gear I do not immediately stow away in the closet. I cannot even begin to describe what it smells like after sitting in the hot car if I miss it when packing up for a trip.

I guess the upside is I make sure everything is perfectly packed away now instead of just lying in the living room. (I used to keep some of it in the garage but Angie's story about roaches scared the heck out of me)!

Cats and animals do not like black pepper.

Take an old mouth piece and sprinkle (liberally) black pepper on it, and leave it some where she can find it. I am pretty sure that will put a dent in her appetite. Yummy…

    Later, Andrew

    Default Cats and animals

Cats and animals not only dislike pepper, but they really hate a foot to the ass. My wife had a cat when we first met that used to pee on my clothes when I would stay over at her place; that cat got many flight lessons.

I Can see the application for the FAA Flight transmitter-
Flight Status- Foot in Ass Flight
    Flight activity schedule- often
    Method of mounting- pressure contact.
Possible Flight delays- Interactive walls and doors
    FAA markings- Meoooow1

    Tooo much fun!

I have 2 cats...and I keep all my dive gear in the corner of my apartment including my tanks, regs, and lights..everything
It might sound mean but every once and awhile when the cats are around my gear I crack the valve on a tank for half a second and it scares the hell out of the cats. So they associate my gear with that and dont even go near it most of the time.
