Naw, this cat is a fully trained scuba cat, tank hissing is juat a lark for her!
I'll solve the problems by shutting the door to the scuba room but it's nice to hear I'm not the only one with a killy that can fly! Cindy

My wife's catzilla owns the house,he is just nice enough to let me live there. A secret to keep the most ill mannered tabby away from things is clear packing tape. Place clear packing tape sticky side up in the vicinity you don't the feline to enter. Once they step on the tape and it attaches to their paw,it is a lesson they don't forget.

What a great thread this has turned into.

And if that trick dosen't work, there's always the burlap sack, a few rocks, and the nearest bridge over the Suwanee, right?? (...or the Santa Fe, or the Withlacoochee...)

My cat Bastet loves to hide in my drysuit bag, fortunately (well, for me and the sofa) she has been mutilated, errr, declawed all around.
The rest of the dive gear lives in the barn anyway so she does not get in that.

Jokes aside, does your kitty have enough cool kitty toys so she doesn't have to find new ones? (ie. your mouthpieces etc...)

We've trained all the non human residents to play with THEIR toys not ours by providing ample toys for them.

Good luck with the sly feline.

Ginnie has tons of toys. I think she either needs a kid (which I can't provide) or a pal. I'm torn on the second kitty. My cat shrink pals tell me she is chewing things that smell the most like me, the stethoscope, shoes, mouthpieces. I think she has a thing for rubber. I tried the tape, it took her about two minutes to figure out how to jump it! I am not into hot peppers on the mouthpieces so I am still thinking she needs a kid. Any kids out there that need a kitty? Cind

I have two cats. I think you are right, Cindy. Your cat needs either more of you or a kitty pal. Cats get bored too. Good luck.

Have you considered storing your gear in Rubbermaid containers whose lids snap shut?

    Default Cindy's cat

Cindy, just ship your cat up here, I will take care of the problem. I will just not promise your kitty ever making it back to you. Even when I get down for my normal trip. I promise that if I do get the chance to bring the cat back that it will not be able to do anything to bother you.

Just let me know, and trying to help out a cave diver is all. I think that some 'shine will fix it. Isn't that right TJ? It would only be a waste of 'shine if Starry or TJ did not get the chance to have a sip or 2 while the cat drank some.
