I have two sets of LP 85s set up for side mount for sale in the DC area right now. They are priced at 300 for each individually or 1000 for all 4. I can deliver to cave country this weekend.
Piranha has them (without valve) for $270. http://www.piranhadivemfg.com/item/L...Cylinder-11564
ebay LP80s for $225. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pressed-Stee...-/180775010266

There are several different LP85's with various buoyancy characteristics. The ones I like are the Faber/OMS cylinders. Can’t offer an opinion on the others.
It's bad luck to be superstitious.
I need the ones that are just a bit shorter in length. I have an issue with tanks being too long for me. I have a very short torso and when tanks hang down between my legs I have issues with trim.
95's and 77's are the shortest of the larger tanks. 85's are a little longer then 95's but usually by an inch.
I have two XS Scuba LP85's I'll sell for 215each. They are in hydro and vip. I can ship them for 25each, or deliver to cave country.
When I first started backmounting doubles I was advised by multiple people, that because I was short (5'5"), i would be well-served to stick with shorter tanks, specifically Faber LP95's. Several close-call ass-over-head moments later, and the LP95's went the way of a lot of my other equipment purchases - traded in. I'll backmount Faber 85's or PST 104's any day of the week and twice on Sunday, over Faber 95's. Luckily 95's seem to be quite popular with the SM crowd.
Since that time, one of the few suggestions with which I've been free, is to dive tanks before buying, if one doesn't KNOW how they are going to trim out. All the theory in the world can't beat actual experience in the water.
