Anybody knows what are regulations for dye tracing in FL? Would it be legal just dump a dye like one in marine emergency kits into sink?

I'm not an expert, but dye tracing is done with special "dye" that is detected by an instrument. Not visual dye, like the marine emergency kits.
The instrument in the link above is designed to be able to detect one part dye in 20,000,000,000 parts of water. (0.05 part per Billion)
