Default Note from Cozumel - gas is fine

We've been on the island diving cave and ocean for about 10 days. The gas analysis has been fine, both air and nitrox.

Two dives in Aerolito this week---lovely. Yesterday German Yanez accompanied us to Cocodrillo, but the manager regretfully would not allow cave diving. The owner was not present. We repaired to Aerolito for the day. On to Tulum tomorrow.

Glad to here. But I will keep analyzing my gas

It was always fine for us, too, until that one tragic time. The ~$300 analyzer is small insurance for saving a life--each and every time!

PS - Have fun down there!

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!

Thanks for the report Barbara. Just curious if you were using your own analyzer or if the shops/air station had one to use. Hope the rest of your trip is a blast!

    Safe diving,

    Default using own analyzer

Hi all---we are using our own analyzer, an Oxycheq. The gas has been from Meridiano, which has inline analyzers. I have not been over there on this trip but analyze each tank individually.

Any idea if the denial was due to the incident with Brendan? If anyone could gain access, I would think it would be German.

Glad you had good dives in Aerolito.. I haven't been in Cocodrillo yet, but Aerolito is one of my favorites, which I look forward to returning to in February.
