I left the line as Joe installed it with a minor change. The small rock that the Lockwood Tunnel line teminates too (which is on top of the big boulder) was moved a bit further down the gold line. My thinking was to move the loop of line on the small rock away from the arrrow on the gold line. This was how it was "T"ed when I went in.
Joe,
Great explanation, thanks!
Years ago before the gold line was put in it was "T'ed" there. I lived 15 minutes from the Nest and would dive it a lot and would occasionally first go left towards Lockwood Tunnel when I wanted to go down stream. When I first went down steam after the new line was installed I had to stop and verify where I was but quickly appreciated that it was a much better way to set up the lines. Since then I have appreciated the gap especially when running a scooter.
All:
It is nice to hear that most are pleased with the results of our relining project but I must make it clear that this was a group effort that involved quite a few people. Off the top of my head these folks were all involved: Brian Armstrong, Heather Armstrong, Michael Barnette, Corey Mearns, Steve Muslin, Eric Deister, Bert Wilcher, Ben Wilcher, Brett Hemphill, Steve Stratsma, Gene Hobbs plus support from Dive Rite, Halcyon, Salvo, NSS-CDS.
Also, I'd like to acknowledge the unsung hero of this entire endeavor, Kelly Jessop, without whom none of this would have happened.
Respectfully,
Joe Citelli
