Did I read a teaser somewhere that someone had explored a connection of the Harper tunnel to the Florida room? I can't find where I read that but it seems intriguing.

Very small like rocky horror or very small like SM only breath in wiggle through and hope you can make it small? This dive would be a long time off for me but I'm still curious about how much of this system is actually mapped and where to find this stuff. Cave atlas is a very useful resource but the maps seem to be pretty dated. I was also looking at my map of Madison Blue and there is a section called the "Badlands" that on my map is shown as
"explored but not surveyed" and doesn't exist on the cave atlas sight..... I'm not being picky about the sight per se because I don't know what we would do without it. But I wonder how to find the most current system maps.
I guess you could say I don't know what I don't know and I'm guessing some of this stuff can be rather like closely guarded secrets so I would assume whoever finds/explores/surveys a new find gets proper credit for said find???
I actually met the guy over at Amigo's who made the connection but can't remember his name but I'm sure Wayne would have that info. When I first met him, he was still working on the connection and he invited me and Wayne to go along but I'm WAY to old and wise for that kind of adventure. ( maybe just too old ) Anyway, several days went by and I met him once again at the fill station and this time he had made the connection. My impression of the dive was that if you don't mid pushing your tanks thru MUD while running a reel and, of course, absolutely no vis, then this is the dive for you! Not for me! Give Wayne a call. He probably has more details.

I believe it was Marius Frei that made the connection. I have never talked to him about it or dived through there but I heard and can easily believe that it was no-mount. He's talking at the Hart Springs meeting in January about it, so you'll be able to hear it from the horse's mouth, so to speak.

I've read that it would be Marius Frei. This was a program for NACD workshop in Manatees that is coming soon (correct me if I'm wrong). Marius is a very nice person, and adventurous explorer who extended many maps that we had before (including new section of Ginnie - you can start throwing eggs at me).
Guys -- it was of course Marius Frei and I wrote a story about it in the NACD journal. He said that if he had been any bigger at all he would not have made it. (Tanks off and bending his body around to fit through, etc.)

P.S. See if you can find the journal story online somewhere. If not, I believe I still have the story saved on my computer.
Be interested in reading it, if it can be made available.
