There were so many divers in Jackson Blue yesterday, doing drills, that they blew the vis in the main tunnel and destroyed it in the cavern. I came within inches of running into a diver with my scooter right near the beginning of the gold line. He just appeared from the silt. (Believe it or not, he was wearing a DUI "desert camouflage" drysuit.)

During deco (at 20', in 30' of vis) I noted to myself that this was the first time I've ever seen people trash the vis in the open water at JB.

But I'm not complaining - it was a great day, with so many different languages being spoken under Pavilion 1. I believe I counted six!

That's just like the DC metro area just like any day of the week. My dry cleaner is from Mongolia, my LPS owner is Iranian, and my favorite lunch restaurant is owned by Bangladeshis.

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!

Touché. But it's not quite desert-like once you're in the water!

I can tell you this: if you want to hide in a siltout, DUI's desert camouflage suit is what you want to wear.

(Had he been wearing my old lime green TLS-350 I would have seen him several seconds sooner.)

Are we talking English dialects or whole different countries? I've heard 4 languanges spoken there before. A guy from Bama, a sho nuff Cajun, a Gawja feller and some weird english lingo from a place called Scotland.
