Go pro cameras are cheap, use a few to capture the thief, then prosecute. File multiple charges: landowner, and owner of the arrows.
Im not sure I want dues money going to support some low life scum bag's collection of pretty yellow arrows. Not that I pay dues, but I keep thinking about itI want to join the CDS to dive cow and finally get the Abe Davis sticker, so ask the NACD to donate the arrows please.

i have huge respect for both the guys in this, even though i dont agree with them in this case - I think it is great that we now collect for new arrows, if that makes people happy.
Personally, i would just leave it, stop talking about it, and stop doing anything about it - i dont care what color an arrow has, and i can find my way out even if it should have its nose cut off. how much fun do you think it would be if we all just stopped paying any attention to it ? i think it would solve the problem pretty quick.

Hey thank you all for the answers, suggestions and attention.
1) Procecution here in Mexico, with support of the landowners...mhhhh forget it =)
2) Paypal Account, nice idea, but...this seems too easy for things to go wrong...BUT we have also a person that is willing to produce arrows for us at low cost in FL, so we can for sure set smth up that you can donate money to him and he produces the arrows for us or smth like that...
3) Any help from people who need an "excuse" to come down and dive the caves is welcome hahahaha...ehhh honey, unfortunately I have to leave to mexico for two weeks on an line arrow emergency hahahahah
4) Please lets not focus on the two people and get into a rageing discussion on who did what and why and how as it simply doesnt change the situation. So instead of focusing on the negative lets focus on the positive on how we can sort this out. I am really sure that once there are so many people here that all chip in for a better cave diving experience, the two guys will be happy as they are both cave diving fanatics, and this situation will be over for good.
5) To all the people who want to send arrows from your kits, well I can opnly speak for myself but I do not care about colors, allthough natural colors that blend in with the environment I like but then high viz pink has its own advantages...but generally i think any color goes. But for sure no names on them to avoid the situation to erupt again
6) I hope I more less covered all, am on the run a bit...in any case Forrest, Andrew, Teppo and all of you who I dont know, thank you very much for your time in reading and answering and participating in this, all your comments and advices are well taken into consideration, we really appreciate it! Looks like our community allthough so different from geographic locations, ideas and procedures still comes together and helps in situations like this one...so I have to admit I am a proud member of the international cave diving community...thanks to all off you again
i dont understand this mexico busness at all. it is a silly place.
Thats exactly what i though and havent done anything in the 5 years i live here. But in fact it got worse.
I also tired of explaining this situation to all the people i guide or teach.
I am very happy that u received great training enabeling you to exit the cave with no markers etc but generally this is not true for every cave diver which is also shown by local accident analysis which has error in navigation as one of the main contributing factors in local cave diving accidents.
Therefore i think it is our respnsability to do smth about it before we learn from yet another accident that we should have done smth before.
Also having distance markers and names of passages will help visiting cave divers in their dive planning and will increase the fun factor...
Thanks for your input!!!!

I'm new to cave diving...very new...but, I'm not sure I could hold any respect for someone that creates potential safety hazards in such a diving environment. When you all are talking about "removing" the arrows, are you talking about actually replacing them with arrows of another color? Or, just removing them period? If they are removing "permanent" arrows, do they ever mess with personal directional markers? I'm just Intro, but once I advance to Full and am installing my navigation markers, I'd be really pissed to find that someone messed with them on my way out. That's some serious business IMO.
Get busy livin', or get busy dyin'
