Do you want people to send you random arrows from their dive kits? They'd come in all different sizes and colors (maybe even pink!) . I know there are issues mailing things to MX, but maybe line arrows in an envelope wouldn't be such a problem.

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!

Yes, DEMA is this week and I know both the NACD and the NSS-CDS are here. In addition to being at DEMA, neither organization produces line arrows. This means line arrows must be purchased, which means the BoD must vote on it and multiple signatures are needed on checks. 10-11 days is not a whole lot of time. This may take over a month to get done. Patience.

...also, if the safety officers are too busy to deal with safety issues then maybe they need to step down from those positions...

My guess would be hundreds. I saw a whole lot of pink arrows, and that was 18 months ago.

If the quality of the pink arrows is the complaint, then perhaps before new arrows are purchased, they need to be spec'd. It may not necessarily be the arrow quality, but the line tension caused by adding multiple new arrows onto snugly laid line. Neither agency is rolling in cash and I hate see a bunch of money wasted on arrows that are either not of the expected quality (since that was the OP complaint), or will be promptly stolen and trashed.

If you're planning to try to "smother" any attempts at removing and replacing them again, you're going to need a whole lot of them to keep replacing them as they're repeatedly removed. I sympathize with the complaint, but am not sure that throwing more arrows at the problem is the solution.

And whoever the vandal is that is cutting the tips off, he doesn't need to be given a "pass" because you disagree with the pink arrows. Two wrongs do not make a right, nor do they make a good directional indicator.

Possibly a late night "code red" visit would convince the two individuals that this is no appropriate behavior.
