Someone told me where to find these this weekend and I forgot...

Anyone have any of these or know where I can find them? I have a set of genesis hp100's I need to plug.

I have several for one side (I don't remember which side), somewhere. You do know one side has left-hand thread, right?

AFAIK All manifolds are opposing threads save for maybe the old sherwood cga one and one of the OMS ones?

I've rebuilt a lot of different ones, and so far, every barrel o-ring type has opposing threads, and every captured o-ring type has right-hand threads on both sides. (That makes sense, because the former needs it to rotate for sizing, and the latter doesn't.)

Yea - OMS made a manifold with compression O-rings, pretty sure that one had RH threads on both sides. I see no reason design wise why it wouldn't.

Just FYI for those that may not know, the left hand threaded plugs usually are notched on the hex portion of the plug where as the right hand threads have no notches.

To confuse the issue even more...because you have a right handed valve does not necessarily mean you need a right hand threaded plug. The right and left handed valve designation are different from manufactur to manufacture. What Dive Rite calls a right handed valve, Thermo calls a left.

But...they BOTH notch the left hand threaded plug and in fact are interchangable...all of that dosen't help you though with the old Genisis valve <whew>
