    Default Suwannee River and Springs

I spent a few days with Paddle FL cleaning up the Suwannee (http://www.currentproblems.org/suwannee_2011.html) and the river and springs looked amazing. I took along my stage bottle and a minimal side mount harness and hit Lafayette Blue, Mearson and Little River as well as the river all in open water/cavern zone.
Lafayette Blue is the best I have ever seen I could actually see both walls in the cavern zone!
Mearson is beautiful and there was a cave crayfish out in the open.
Down river from Mearson there appears to be a river cave in the east bank and with the Suwannee having 30ft vis it might make an interesting dive.
Keep in mind all of these conditions might change rapidly with the rain but its once a decade diving in the Suwannee right now. Thanks to the folks who had a OW/single tank sidemount thread a while back it works great for kayak diving.
    Enjoy!
