My fingertips never show redness. It's all in having your finger positioned on the scooter switch correctly.

Congrats on passing! Apprentice and full is just diving, unless you screw up a lot.
Then, it's pretty much Cavern/Intro all over again.

If cave diving were Star Wars, who would be Yoda?

Congratulations to you and your team mates!

I did Cavern and Intro in Feb, and showed up for the last day of class with white medical tape on all ten digits because we were in Devil's the previous day...ouch!!

I have a hunch that at least a few cavern / intro instructors do not feel they are doing a good job if their students wrap up training @ Devil's Ear with all their fingerprints intact & identifiable. That would include one of mine.

Was it your instructor that did the "daring"..? It doesn't take something noticably "hot" to wake you up with Ginnie Fingers... Lemon, Lime, etc..

Congrats! Welcome to the addiction... It only gets worse..

Yeah, when we went out to celebrate, our waitress suggested limes for our Coronas...with a big grin on her face. I think she's been working in cave country a while.

Get busy livin', or get busy dyin'

Easier said than done... For me anyways. Dove there four times the first week of Oct and tried to make a effort to pull correctly but still came out with red finger. I guess thats a great accomplishment over the first time I was there and acually had to put bandaids on

Thanks, I had a blast. It was great meeting you Joe, and everyone at the social. Arctic Mike and I were already discussing another trip to cave country. Maybe you can join us if you don't mind diving with an "Intro Diver".
