    Thumbs up Official Noob

Well, I'm beat-down tired, but am proud to announce that I, as well as my fellow team mates, passed Cavern and Intro to Cave this past week. All I can say is I'm hooked. The three of us in the class are already planning a long weekend trip back down next month...probably to Ginnie/Devil's. I'm diving there until I can come out with clean finger tips...well...actually any fingertips would be good.

Congratulations and welcome to the sickness!

Congrats! I feel your pain I earned my Cavern and Intro certs in mid September and I think I almost have a readable fingerprint only now.

I am headed back down next week and again right around Nov. 4th for long weekends of as much cave diving as I can find buddies for. Thanksgiving is also a possibility and I also have about three weeks of January planned for some more training and lots more diving. Good luck and as a friend of mine says: "keep learning, Keep training"

Congratulations! There's a lot of cave that can be seen at the Intro level.

Yeah, I have a sick buddy. His fingertips were pretty bad...much worse than mine...and, on a dare, he ordered hot wings when we went out to celebrate.

Thanks for the congrats, everyone. We did a few post-training dives too while we were down there, but I hit the wall on exertion, and sat out the last. Hey, I have about a dozen years on all those younger whipper snappers that made the trip.

The trick it to grab onto a projection, then release, but don't let your fingers slide on the limestone.
