The original hydro date is 11/77, and the latest hydro was 09/00, so they are due a hydro in September. These tanks are in great shape, and heavy. They are the size of steel 72's, only they are stamped 3000 psi. I have used them a bunch in Peacock springs and they fit the bill fine. They are in excellent condition inside and out, and I promise many more years of service with them.

Sound like Navy 90s...heavy heavy tank, but I always liked them for singles.

They are actually 94.1 CF, and you are right, they are thick. I used to dive them single in the ocean with a 3 mil suit with no weights at all.

I have two of these tanks as singles. They are pretty neat. They are the size of steel 72s, but at 3300 hold 94.1 cu ft. They are 13 lbs negative full and something like 6 lbs negative empty.

They are a fun way to mess with your buddies mind if he's diving a 72. Do a decent length dive and then gloat that you've still got 1800 psi.
