For about the first 50 dives after intro I was so task loaded (checked everything twice during setup, checked everything twice in the water, checked air every 100', bouyancy, buddy, trim, air...) that I was exhausted after even simple main line penetrations. I took Full 40 dives after Intro and started to relax and get into a rythm. I've never had a feeling that I had to get out of there, even 3,000ft back, but I do turn dives way before thirds when I just feel like I've gone far enough.

Now dry caves, on the other hand, always give me the willies when I get out of the daylight zone. I can penetrate where I can stand up, but I can't crawl more than 20' without that voice screaming "GET OUT!!". They creep me out just thinking about them.

Yep, I can go pretty much anywhere in a wet cave and even in zero viz my my heart rate/breathing don't really change but dry caves are not my cup of tea.
