Design opportunities in Cave Diving?

I have just started to watch James Cameron's "Sanctum", got a couple of questions about that.

is that robot camera thing that follows the divers round, is that a real thing, do people use them.

Is there anything about the decompression chambers that is problematic or needs improving? i understand a fair bit of time can be needed in there sometimes.

ROVs are real... but they are a real PITA in caves, anything with a tether is gonna suck. I promise.
