+1 on Buford. Took a while for someone to mention it but it is a fantastic cavern dive. Don't go after a rain cause without a GPS you'll never find it in the thigh deep swamp water. Its a bit of a hike but totally worth it.

A group of us locally are going to Buford later this winter when its a little less wet and less bugs.

If we go to King Springs during the week, we'll hit you up.

Just to confirm, diving is allowed year round at Jackson Blue? A couple of resources online said that it was closed for the winter, but I'm assuming that's old info. It looks like from Edd's site, it's been opened year round for a while. Also, what sites on Merritt's pond are good cavern dives other than JB?

I also dove Cypress 15 years ago as an OW diver, but it appears to have been closed long ago due to privatization. Any updates?

JB is "closed" to swimmers except in the summer. It is available to cave diver 24/7/365. Check in at Cave Adventurers.

Thanks. I assumed, but wanted to confirm. There's still alot of info saying you have to check in with the Sherriff's office still too.

Sheriff's Office? That's about two years out of date.
