Those are some strange numbers - what kind of bailout bottles cost $562 each?

Again please tell me how I am not knowledgeable about the rEvo. You want to know why I am, I almost bought a rEvo when during my exhaustive search to buy the perfect unit (I know that is questionable either way). Plus I have friends who dive them, so I have heard their shortcomings straight from the horses mouth.

Since no one else has yet, I'll tell you - you are not knowledgeable about the revo. There is A big difference between Internet diving and real world diving. How many ccr hours do you have? Go get certified on 3 or 4 units, put 50 hours on each and then come back and talk.

There was a time when most RB divers "thought" that, but the facts - over the last 3 to 4 years, from my personal observations and from all the forums I read - don't seem to bear it out.

I used to be a huge fan of 4-8 airgas stuff and say the same things you said here. Until we had Paul R test it in his ANSI machine - it turns out 4-8 is much less effective than sofnolme 8-12. I'm not saying it's less safe sorb, but pound for pound it is certianly less efficient. Scientific testing goes much further than personal observations.
