I like the way everyone avoided the really interesting issue raised in the article:
Huth explained that Blue Springs, whose main, water-filled passage extends approximately a horizontal mile, also has many side passages. A newly found side passage led to a new entrance to the cave, via a sink hole located on private property. Huth explained that at that entrance, more passages were discovered and this has effectively doubled the known size of the Jackson Blue Spring cave system.
The problem is the sink hole is on private property. And according to Huth, there is a lack of agreement with the owner to give access to the public.
Is any progress being made or attempted to allow access to JB (not HITW or Twin) via a second entrance?
Inquiring mind and all
Perhaps the second entrance isnt as enticing and user friendly as Jackson Blue.
Perhaps the second entrance is a silty mess that requires a SM configuration, or no mount configuration?
Perhaps you need ropes experience to utilize the second entrance?
Perhaps the second entrance requires a long belly crawl into dry cave?
Perhaps the private land owner, would rather not have divers inquiring about access on his property?
Perhaps the "second entrance" is already very well known spring/sink/cave entrance to most, just not as the second entrance into the Jackson Blue system?
Perhaps the second entrance is as much of a public known secret, with as much merit, as the deep section at JB?
Perhaps those inquiring access to the second entrance, aren't concerned with public access? or even public knowledge of that access?
Perhaps there is a group inquiring access into a second entrance, and more inquiry could detract from their endeavors?
Perhaps a cow fell in a hole, affectively closing off a second entrance?
Perhaps, there is no spoon.
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps????

Paper covers rock,
Scissors cut paper,
Rock smashes scissors,
Cow covers cave,
Sneak divers move cow,
Farmer shoots at divers,
Bystanders get gear.
If cave diving were Star Wars, who would be Yoda?
There were attempts being made to gain special access to the sink hole but they got nowhere. I don't know if that was a lack of interest on the landowner's part or lack of action elsewhere. This was not going to be general access for all, just for a select group of people. I haven't heard anything regarding this in about 10 months.
