    Default Caves around Gatlinburg TN?

I am going to be staying in the Gatlinburg TN area for a couple weeks in October.

Should I be bringing my cave gear with me? (As in wet caves I can dive?)

Nothing real close, that we know about. TN is so big that the only places that have been checked are near divers. Konxville has some, but Murfreesboro and down towards Chattanooga has the most known cave dives.

Blindman's Cave is in that neck of the woods. Never been there but see if this video link works (On Rheas Dive Center website). I have no idea how to get to this place, which was a former dry cave and is now flooded under a lake.

david rhea probably knows about more caves over that side than about anyone.
when you planning on being there? maybe we could hook up and rent a boat. I know a guy who knows a guy who knows where in the lake to drop down....

There's several caves to dive just minutes from Gatlinburg. How ambitious are ya feeling?
