A galaxy dive at the lips would be cool (release the goo a bit further in, watch from the gallery), but that would prohibit all OW and Cavern Divers from participating.

Does anything other than Ginnie fit the bill? (not rhetorical)
JB is definitely out unless we get rain. We tried it last year and there wasn't enough flow to do anything with the goo. It just dropped to the floor. For the panhandle, there's the option of Morrison, but we'd probably have to coordinate it with the SO to make sure we could be there that late. Same with Little River in North Central Florida.

First.............We need to do a snow dance, so it doesn't rain on our parade ! I remember some New Year's camp outs & partys where it rained all week end. So, maybe we can have a Native American party two weeks before New Years to chase the rain devils away !
This being said, this is the best social of the year, bar none ! I am planning to be there. Ginnie is cool, but maybe Cathy could get us into Peacock for that week end after dark ? We need a new spot with flow. I do not know where to suggest ?

Flow is way down in LR as well, and there is no bottle neck. No flow at Peacock... maybe we could blow it out the end of a scooter! Oh yeah, no scooters... damn. Camping onsite is basically going to be required this year for me, as I will have the 3 kids in tow.

I have never been to Morrison. Isn't the cave there blocked though? I don't think we will get a good turnout if there is no cave to dive most of the weekend.

Speak of the devil... Herbie and one of his many daughters dropped by the shop Saturday. He's in school, until spring... but he'll be back.

Well, I'd like to thank Marissa for volunteering to coordinate this at Ginnie. Unfortunately, though, nobody else showed any real interest.

So here's what is happening: some of us will be at Jackson Blue on December 31. Edd may decide to sponsor it (giving free admission), but I don't think it will be an organized social. More like the 2004 Antisocial, where people just showed up and brought their own food and drink.

There WILL be a Galaxy Dive, however. It might just be four or five of us, but it will happen. Who knows, though, maybe twenty or thirty people will show up.

OK, will you be personally inviting Herbie? How about Dr. Dewayne? Will you provide the dwarfs for tossing, or shall we bring our own? SID, SID are you out there??????????

Not much flow in JB. Jen and I did it last December/January and it all just fell to the floor. And there was more flow then than there is now. Morrison has a lot of flow though and we can probably coordinate something with the local SO.
