Nautical Charts...What Next?

Well, I guess this goes somewhat hand-in-hand with me adding boat ramps to the Cave Atlas mapping tool. I have now added a transparent map that shows a satellite projection with the NOAA nautical charts overlaid. Unfortunately, I can't find river charts "right now"...But I am looking.

The example below shows the NOAA nautical charts for the area around Crystal Beach. This page can be gotten to by selecting the US cave listing then selecting Crystal Beach Spring. From the Crystal Beach Spring system page, click the Location & Specifics tab and then click the map.

Once the map page is up, you will notice you can select the map "Style" on the top right (default is "Cave Maps" -- look at Peacock, Alachua, Eagle's Nest, etc. to see what "Cave Maps show on the map). Click it then click, Nautical. Now you will have the Nautical Charts overlaid on the Satellite Map.



If anyone has any features or enhancement they would like to see on Cave Atlas, please feel free to let me know.
